Welcome to Walnut Cove, a beautifully wooded, lakefront community.
Walnut Cove Property Owners Association is located in Montgomery County and features a simple-living lifestyle with the convenience of an onsite management company and the lowest POA dues in the area. We are approximately 1hr north of Houston, nestled in the heart of the East Texas piney woods. You will find conventionally built single-family homes, mobile homes, and RVs distributed throughout the 4 sections of the community.
Walnut Cove boasts many amenities. A favorite of the community is the 95’x95’ pool, available during the summer months, where an onsite monitor is present to operate the concession stand. Convenient access to Lake Conroe through the boat ramp, as well as an outstanding fishing pier is another top attraction year-round. The 2.5-acre area at the boat dock offers plenty of space for boat launching and parking. Newly installed grills and picnic tables in the vicinity are accommodating for the whole family. Walnut Cove presents many other desirable features to its property owners, including dumpster privileges and recreational areas. Our 2700sqft community center with attached pavilion is newly remodeled, full kitchen included. The Walnut Cove Community Center is available for rental to residents for events such as birthday parties, reunions, graduations, and baby showers. Nature and mature trees are prominent, making for tranquil relaxation. New parks and playgrounds are strategically distributed throughout the neighborhood with picnic areas and grills.

Neighborhood Parking Rules

All vehicles must be parked in a garage or their appurtenant driveways, with no exceptions other than as provided herein.

No vehicle shall be parked on streets or driveways so as to obstruct ingress or egress of other vehicles.

No parking is authorized on unimproved driveways or grass.

All vehicles must be in daily operation with a current registration and state inspection sticker when parked within the Walnut Cove Subdivision.

No unlicensed, unregistered, inoperable or disabled vehicles shall be kept or maintained except in an Owner's enclosed garage.

Vehicles may not be parked so as to obstruct a marked fire lane.

No motorcycles, boats, trailers, covered vehicles, or commercial-type vehicles of any kind shall be parked, stored or otherwise permitted to remain overnight upon any street except for temporary parking of vehicles used in conjunction with the repair or maintenance of homes, unless prior written approval is obtained from the Board.

The Association has designated certain areas as Member Parking Only(Parks, Pool, and Boat Ramp). Parking in these areas are reserved only for Members and Member's Guests. Any vehicle parked in these areas must have the proper sticker displayed on the windshield. Any unauthorized vehicle parked in these areas will be towed immediately.
